In 1997, Pinnacle Cabinet Company was founded in Mount Pleasant Michigan by three McDonald brothers. The McDonald family roots in Mount Pleasant date from the 1870’s. Each of the brothers has a background in the building industry and an interest in fine woodworking. After providing cabinetry locally for a few months they set their sights on a broader market. In 1998, the first authorized Pinnacle Dealer was established in southern Michigan and additional dealers were and continue to be added. The typical Pinnacle dealer is well established in their market area, possesses superior design skills and has a wealth of knowledge about the process of designing and installing award winning projects.

Pinnacle employees subscribe to the old adage “Every job is a self-portrait of those who did it. Autograph your work with quality”. A sign with that saying hangs in the center of the Pinnacle facility. Many of our employees have years of industry experience and all of us continually strive to provide our customer an outstanding product.
